Air Conditioning Technician
Arouca, Trinidad & Tobago·Full-time·Field-based (island-wide)
About the role
Rondotech Enterprises Limited is a Trinidad-based air-conditioning and refrigeration company serving homes, offices, shops and government buildings across the country. We are growing our field team and looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in clean workmanship and treats every client — from a small home in Arouca to a conference room in Port of Spain — with the same care.
What you'll do
- Install, service and repair split, window and multi-split air-conditioning units at homes, offices and commercial premises across Trinidad & Tobago.
- Diagnose faults on residential and light-commercial refrigeration equipment (chillers, walk-ins, display cases).
- Perform gas top-ups (R-22, R-410A, R-32, R-134a), pressure testing, brazing, vacuuming and leak detection.
- Carry out preventative maintenance — coil cleaning, filter changes, drain flushing and electrical checks.
- Complete digital job tickets, take before/after photos and get customer sign-off on-site.
- Represent Rondotech professionally with clients — punctual, respectful and neatly dressed.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience servicing air-conditioning units in Trinidad, Tobago or the wider Caribbean.
- MIC / NESC / trade-school certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops and in tight ceiling spaces in tropical heat.
- Valid T&T driver's permit and own reliable transport preferred.
- Good spoken English and basic literacy for filling out job reports on a phone or tablet.
- Police Certificate of Character (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
- Legally able to work in Trinidad & Tobago.
